Our customers were asked to help with an online survey recently, we asked them for reasons of taking CBD, how often it was taken and by which method. The CBD capsule lovers coifed our suspicions, morning and evening 1 to 2 capsules each time, however what we wasn’t expecting was to the feedback of adding to cooking and baking recipes.
SO this got the Arima team thinking…could we host an online bake off? Perhaps an ebook of recipes each with a customer profile and serving suggestions. The ideas have been flowing… We have known for sometime that the fitness fanatics really understand CBD, aiding recovery whilst training which is why CBD is often added to regulate appetite.
In this post we are going to share 6 easy to follow delicious recipes all with the added ingredient of CBD.
So before you rush to the pantry and start baking I feel its worth pointing out a few positives when it comes to cooking with CBD.
CBD is full of richness in various nutrients, fatty acids are included along with amino which we all need to help fuel of body correctly.
CBD also offers minerals and vitamins which helps to regulate your eating, helping your to feel fuller for longer whilst maintaining optimum energy. As an of the shelve food supplement CBD can be worked into a daily routine, but how? Adding CBD to food, recipes you can create easily at home and will help the wellbeing of the entire family.
Warmer weather on the horizon, a refreshing salad for Lunch seems like the order of the day, and what could be more delicious than a juicy chicken salad?
Full of goodness to prepare you for the afternoon.
What you’ll need:
• 4 chicken thighs, skinless and boneless, sliced• 2 tbsp olive oil
For the salad and dressing:
• 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
• Zest and juice 1½ lemons
• 2 tsp clear honey
• 1 ripe avocado, finely sliced
• ½ cucumber, sliced
• Cherry Tomatoes sliced
• 100g radishes, finely sliced
Start by rubbing 2 tablespoons of olive oil over your chicken pieces, before seasoning this with salt and black pepper, which has some amazing benefits.
Then heat your chicken in a frying pan of a medium-high heat for around 10 minutes, turning regularly to ensure that each piece browns evenly.
Once your chicken is cooked, set this aside in a large salad bowl for cooling.
When it comes to making your CBD-infused dressing, simply mix a tablespoon is Dijon mustard with lemon zest and around two tablespoons of lemon juice.
Then add one-quarter cup of mayonnaise and up to two cloves of garlic (depending on taste), before infusing the mix with a 2 drops of original CBD oil.
Stir your dressing until this is emulsified, seasoning with salt and pepper as you do so.
Then, simply add your choice of chopped vegetables to the mix, with cucumber, radishes and avocado adding taste and texture in equal measure.
At this stage, all that is left is to stir in your chicken pieces and serve!
